bypath asked: When submitting your portfolio pieces, can they be scanned/be photographed and sent as a digital/printed file?

The original portfolio pieces (not home test answers) that you include in the package should be the actual original pieces. You should be able to fit as many as you can, and the rest that you want to include but can’t fit scan/photograph and include them in a USB flash drive. Works that have to go digitally and not as originals should be large sculptures, any video work, anything fragile that could easily break (i.e. glass) during shipping and when the admissions board handles the work (they’re not very nice about handling stuff, they tend to put it back in the package hastily after viewing your work).

If you’re including photographs, print them out to the size you want, and make a booklet/mini portfolio holder thingy to put them all together for a nicer viewing experience (PRESENTATION OF THE PIECES ALWAYS COUNTS!).
