Anonymous asked: in your opinion, what is the most difficult aspect of the hometest and the cooper experience ie classroom life? how many hours of sleep do you get per night, say if you enjoy the lecture or whatever prompt you're assigned that day? how would you describe the school in three adjectives (besides free, elite, etc)?

Most difficult part of the home test: motivation to actually do it. And coming up with ideas (sometimes).

Most difficult part of Cooper experience: doing the work. It’s really hard but I like to think that the art kids like the challenges that CU gives them so doing the work is like pleasure and pain.

Hours of sleep: see here is the problem with me. I like to sleep, so I compromise and always get at least 6 hours of sleep each night during the school year (unless of course there’s an essay due the next day). I know most of the art kids tend to sleep very little or not get any sleep a day or two in a row because of the work we have and the amount of effort and time we put into it.

Three words: challenging, eye-opening, opportunistic.
