Anonymous asked: Is architecture really the hardest school to get into? What other colleges were you accepted into? How do you feel about the size of the school, and what is the guy to girl ratio? Do you get to mingle with other students from NYU and Parsons?
I’m not sure which school is the hardest to get into, but I would assume architecture is the hardest to.

I like the small size of the school. I know what it’s like to go to a small school (my middle school was tiny, much less people per grade than at Cooper), and so I’m not intimidated by the fact that everyone eventually gets to know everyone. It’s nice and comforting to know that you’re in a tight-knit community, even though the three school don’t usually do things together except for occasionally party and the humanities courses which we all share.
The girl to guy ratio? Oh darn, I don’t know, but lemme put it this way: art is 1:1 b:g, architecture has like slightly more guys than girls, but its the slightest bit, so it’s almost 1:1, and engineering is like 30% or less girls. So the school is mostly guys, and then the girls in art and arch help to make it less male populated (but not by much).
No, we don’t really mingle with students from NYU (we usually make fun of them actually) and from Parsons, only when someone has friends who go to either schools do we rarely get to talk to someone from the neighboring schools.
